Ester is raising her son David, who has an intellectual disability, alone. This summer, she dreams of a carefree getaway with friends in Italy. But after one of David's breakdowns, tensions rise, and they find themselves exiled to an old caravan at the bottom of the garden. It's all too much for Ester. On a whim, they hit the road. When Zuza, a young, open-minded backpacker, joins them, an unlikely but genuine trio forms, caught between fragile joy and unexpected freedom.
