The Second Wife (1998) - Taboo Romance
other title: La seconda moglie
The Second Wife (1998), original title La seconda moglie, is an Italian drama directed by Ugo Chiti. Maria Grazia Cucinotta plays Anna, a Sicilian single mother who marries an older, rough truck driver and moves to his quiet Tuscan village. When her husband is arrested, Anna becomes the object of intense desire from his teenage stepson Livio.
What begins as quiet tension grows into a forbidden sexual relationship between stepmother and stepson. The film features several nude and sex scenes with Maria Grazia Cucinotta, showcasing her body in intimate moments that drive the story’s central taboo attraction.
